An off-centre circle can feel intentional

An off-centre circle can feel intentional

Centre a round rug on the activity it supports: a chair, a small table or a group of seats. It need not share the room's geometric centre. Balance the surrounding empty floor by eye, then walk the route through the room. A deliberate furniture relationship is more convincing than a perfectly measured but unusable position.

Start with the real room

A circle offers a different relationship to furniture from a rectangle. Its maximum width is only available through the centre, and the usable surface curves away at the sides. Testing the true outline helps you judge that difference. Choose the shape for the activity and the space, not merely to echo another round object.

Before you choose

  1. Write down the exact product and size you are comparing. Keep the room measurements beside that record.
  2. Check the full product gallery, not only the first image. Distinguish the selected option from room styling illustrations.
  3. Read the specific care information and resolve any unanswered practical question with the supplier before ordering.

Continue your plan

Compare the relevant rug collection alongside your notes. Use the size guide to review proportions and the care guide for a starting checklist. The individual product label remains the authority for care.
