The combined layers may affect heat transfer, and the system may specify limits. Ask for the relevant guidance before placing the rug, then keep the setup within those instructions rather than relying on a general temperature rule.

Avoid treating one appealing word as a substitute for the full information. Ask the supplier to clarify any point that affects your floor, cleaning equipment or intended use before ordering.
